epicentre Saskatchewan

Epicentre is a seven-phase initiative that brings churches, businesses and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada together for 10 months to engage, challenge, and minister to both Christian and non-Christian youth.

It’s about teaching Christian youth how to share their faith with friends and providing opportunities for these friends to participate and explore what a relationship with Jesus Christ looks like for themselves.

Epicentre is different than other conferences. A relationship takes time and that’s what Epicentre is all about. Working with young people in a community for almost an entire year, gives us a chance to inspire and impact them long after the enthusiasm of a weekend conference wears off.

That commitment gives time for strong, long-term Bible study and faith reflection through the highs and lows every youth faces in the course of a year. It’s also about building a support system between young people and their church leaders and other young people too that can remain after we leave. Knowing such support exists is critical for young people when they step out and share their faith with friends and family.

By working with local churches for 10 months, we have an opportunity to provide materials and training to church leaders that will continue to impact the community’s young people long after we are gone. It’s also an opportunity for churches to work together on projects that benefit their young people.
