The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is well known for the powerful evangelism and outreach ministry of our founder, Billy Graham. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada is seeking an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible to manage and carryout various aspects of the organization’s ministry initiatives as directed by the Celebration Director in support of the organizational mission. This individual will also be responsible for managing the administrative, training, planning, implementing and organizational aspects for The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada events and programs to ensure their success, and will work closely with other ministry assistants and project managers. As an integral member of the Billy Graham Ministry Team, this role will help The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada carry out its mission and objectives through participation in daily prayer ministry. The successful candidate will fulfill a full-time one-year contract position in the Calgary head office. This position includes benefits of life insurance, medical/dental and short term/long term disability and 15 days of vacation per year to start.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage personnel, secure location and oversees other arrangements necessary to facilitate and prepare for assigned The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada events and/or programs
  • Plan and implement training events, prayer and information sessions, etc., in cooperation with the Billy Graham ministry team
  • Develop, implement, and oversee committees and volunteer groups to aid with the ministry’s programs
  • Promote and updates ministry initiatives to various organizations including, but not limited to: church and parachurch organizations, community groups, youth camps and task forces
  • Liaise with and mobilize the local churches and other parachurch groups to build awareness and organize support for The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada and its events
  • Determine and implement all logistical needs, with the assistance of the ministry team, for meetings, seminars, and training sessions to facilitate, promote and equip the Christian community for the ministry of the BGEAC
  • Work in collaboration with the Donor Development department to further engage donors by raising awareness for BGEAC ministry objectives
  • Engage in opportunities to actively promote the mission and vision of the BGEAC and its ministry through public speaking events
  • Travel, as necessary, to various locations across Canada and internationally to effectively carry out the accountabilities of the role



  • Qualified applicants should be committed to Christian values and precepts and be in agreement with The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada’s Statement of Faith
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum of five years of ministry experience, preferably with some youth ministry experience
  • 2-4 years experience leading teams, team leader &/or committee chair;  understanding the depth of dynamics within committees and how they function
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite computer applications
  • Outgoing personality who can communicate well with church leaders, understanding church culture and current challenges
  • A passion for evangelism and the ability to share this passion
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and self-direction skills
  • Disciplined self-starter with a professional, calm manner when working with others
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Public speaking experience will be an asset
