The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada (BGEAC) is seeking a dedicated Senior Project Manager to assume a pivotal role in our ministry endeavors. This position will report directly to the Assistant Director of BGEAC Ministry and will be responsible to plan, promote, implement, and support various ministry projects and events, with a focus on Evangelism Congresses, Celebration Development, and the Law Enforcement Retreat. Working collaboratively with other managers, directors and BGEAC staff, this role will carry out various aspects of ministry initiatives that contribute to the mission of supporting the local church and spreading the Gospel across Canada. As an integral member of the BGEAC Ministry, this individual is expected to perform in a professional manner and deliver high quality outcomes and will help BGEAC carry out its mission and objectives through participation in daily prayer ministry. The successful candidate will fulfill a full-time eight-month contract position in the Calgary head office.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manages logistical and scheduling needs for a spectrum of events, meetings, seminars and training sessions to facilitate, promote, and equip the ministry of the BGEAC
- Works closely with the team in planning and implementing the Chinese Evangelism Congress in Vancouver
- Works in collaboration with the Donor Ministry department to further engage donors and raise awareness of the ministry objectives
- Ensures that new and existing record-keeping systems are accurately maintained and sensitive information is handled with confidentiality and according to BGEAC rules and practices
- Recommends and develops administrative procedures and systems in collaboration with the ministry teams to ensure seamless office operations and organizational efficiency
- Manages project-related expenses and delivers accurate and comprehensive reports and financial documentations for administrative purposes
- Travels, as necessary and agreed upon, to various locations across Canada and internationally to effectively carry out the accountabilities of the role
Qualifications:
- Qualified applicants should be committed to Christian values and precepts and be in agreement and compliance with the BGEAC Statement of Faith
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Minimum of 5 years ministry experience, and 2-4 years of management or supervisory experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrates exceptional organizational acumen, problem-solving skills, and a self-directed work ethic.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information
- Thorough understanding of the local church and its dynamics, including but not limited to structure, operation, administration, and culture
Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License
- Valid passport with no travel restrictions
