Course Description: (15 hrs – Three Days)
We’re offering training in a variety of communities to help equip Canadians to offer hope in Christ to family members, friends, co-workers, etc. — whoever is experiencing a personal crisis and needs compassion and a listening ear. The training is also required training for those who feel called by God to serve as volunteer Rapid Response Team Chaplains, for deployment in Canada and/or abroad, to offer hope in Christ to victims of natural and or man-made disasters.
About:
The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team trains God’s people for grief ministry and deploys crisis-trained chaplains to provide emotional and spiritual care to those affected by man-made or natural disasters. Learn more about the Rapid Response Team’s critical ministry.
Cost:
The cost for this training is $35/person.
Schedule:
- Tuesday, October 22, 2024: 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. MDT
- Wednesday, October 23, 2024: 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. MDT
- Thursday, October 24, 2024: 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. MDT
(This course has 15 hours of class time. You must be present for the entire course (3×5 hours) to receive a certificate from ICISF.)
