Sportscaster James Brown More Thankful for His Faith Than His Fame

Posted: November 27, 2019

Before James “JB” Brown was a well-known sportscaster, he was a 24-year-old searching for meaning in his life. He’d been cut from the Atlanta Hawks and his dreams of playing NBA basketball appeared to be over. While JB did find some success in the business world, he felt empty and unhappy.

That all changed when JB surrendered his heart to Jesus Christ. God led him to a new career, sports broadcasting, which allows him to shine the light of Christ to a national audience. Hear all about it on this episode of GPS: God. People. Stories.

This episode features an excerpt from Billy Graham’s message “Response to Receiving 1,900th Walk of Fame Star.”
