The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada (BGEAC) is seeking an experienced Ministry Administrator to join our team.

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is well known for the powerful evangelism and outreach ministry of our founder, Billy Graham.  His mission is our mission: “Proclaiming the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to all we can by every effective means available to us, and equipping others to do the same.”

As the Ministry Administrator, your role is to ensure the efficient operation of the BGEAC Ministry department by providing assistance with planning, organization, communication, and scheduling of project and ministry activities. This position supports senior management, key stakeholders, and international offices, helping the BGEAC fulfill its mission to share the Gospel.  As an integral member of the BGEAC Ministry Team, this individual is expected to perform in a professional manner and deliver high quality outcomes and will help BGEAC carry out its mission and objectives through participation in daily prayer ministry.

The successful candidate will fulfill a full-time Maternity-Leave contract position (from June 2025 to December 2026) in the Calgary head office. This position includes benefits of life insurance, medical/dental and short-term/long-term disability, free parking, RRSP contributions (after 1 year of employment) and 15 days of vacation per year.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides administrative and ministry support to the Director of BGEAC Ministry and departmental staff as assigned
  • Performs administrative functions, such as preparing correspondence; completing and tracking expense reports, travel authorizations, purchase orders, and other financial documentation; and organizing appointments, events, and travel arrangements
  • Supports ministry team in ensuring accuracy of, and routing approvals for, contracts, host agreements, and other administrative agreements related to ministry events
  • Compiles and verifies completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all reports, requests, authorizations, and documentation prior to circulation for approval or submissions to Finance or Executive Director
  • Compiles information from the BGEAC Ministry team to include in International Headquarters (IHQ) reports, quarterly Board reports, and affiliate office updates in a timely and accurate manner, working with BGEAC management to ensure accuracy of information
  • Tracks, maintains, and distributes information relative to department attendance and the BGEAC Ministry Schedule
  • Develops and recommends administrative procedures and systems to ensure smooth office operations
  • As assigned, oversees, receives, and reviews BGEAC Ministry’s external contracts with hotels and vendors, acting as a liaison and helping to ensure contractual arrangements are appropriate, meet organizational requirements, and are completed on schedule
  • Ensures the confidentiality and accuracy of information on behalf of BGEAC

Qualifications:

  • Qualified applicants must be committed to Christian values and precepts and be in agreement and compliance with the BGEAC Statement of Faith
  • Post secondary degree or diploma in Office Administration (preferred) or business management
  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative support position, preferably at a senior management level
  • Experience scheduling travel arrangements for senior management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Pleasant professional manner when responding to requests and inquiries
  • Superior communication abilities, both verbal and written, for professional correspondence and documentation
  • Maintains confidentiality of records and information
  • Accurate and efficient; detail-oriented
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and self-direction skills
  • An independent thinker and team player

  • A valid passport and the ability to travel when required
