Have you ever asked yourself why they seem so concerned about you and take every opportunity they can to talk with you about Jesus?

The reason is because they love you, and they know your life will be better with God than without Him. They also know that eternal issues are at stake; someday you will die and face God – and right now you’re unprepared for that day. If your grandparents didn’t care about you and your soul they wouldn’t bother telling you about Jesus – but they do care, and they know that a life lived for Christ is far more satisfying than a life lived without Him.

In other words, they know from their own long experience that only Christ gives us lasting peace and happiness. Jesus’ words are true: “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). They also have lived long enough to know what happens to someone who rejects God and is determined to live his own way. The Bible warns, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death” (Proverbs 16:25).

There are only two ways to live: with God, or without Him. Don’t be deceived into thinking that it’s better to live without God – for it isn’t. Instead, turn your life over to Christ. You’ll discover life’s greatest adventure – the adventure of knowing God and following His will.
