Debbie’s Story
Debbie* was among hundreds of attendees at the Christian Life and Witness Courses (CLWC) hosted in Ontario.
The evangelism training helps Christians grasp key Biblical principles that form a solid foundation for their faith. The course also equips believers to share their faith with others.
When Debbie learned that CLWC was happening at her church, she knew she wanted to attend. “I want to learn more. Whatever I need to learn, I want to. This is powerful,” said Debbie.

Equipped for Every Good Work
Shortly after Debbie became a Christian, she began carrying cards to give out, inscribed with John 3:16 and the simple phrase “Jesus loves you.” Any opportunity that Debbie finds, or feels called to, she shares the Gospel with those she meets. Whether they take the inscribed card or not, Debbie knows that in simply planting a seed, God makes it grow in His time.
Debbie’s excitement to share the Gospel also includes a passion to see others likewise equipped to share their faith. “I’d love to see more people empowered, not just in my church but everywhere,” said Debbie. Through CLWC, Debbie is even more inspired to reach others with the Gospel. “Hope—that’s what [people] want. They need hope.”
