Thompson-Okanagan Region Pastors Retreat

Pastors enjoy three days to get away, be with other pastors, and be refreshed, recharged, and reenergized!

Join us May 2-4 at Sparkling Hill Resort & Spa (888 Sparkling Pl.), Vernon.

This free retreat includes meals and two nights at a hotel, and your spouse is welcome too! You will be inspired and encouraged by our speakers, uplifted in times of worship, enjoy plenty of time to rest and return home with a renewed passion for prayer.

We are excited about this retreat and we are praying for each one of you who will be joining us!

*Please note Sparkling Hill Resort is an adult-oriented wellness resort. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the resort as guests or visitors.

Special Guests

Ed Weiss

Ed Weiss traveled for 15 years motivating people to their full potential as an international speaker. Ed began with a master’s degree in theology, and went on to a second master’s degree in counseling and finally a PhD in counseling. He has worked extensively as a counselor, working with individuals of all ages. Ed’s counseling style is transparent, as he offers his own journey and personal struggles to those who are experiencing struggles of their own. His warm heart and ability to compassionately communicate allows Ed to instantly establish a friendship with anyone who meets him.


Brooke Nicholls

Brooke Nicholls is a worship leader and songwriter from Toronto, ON, where she serves as staff worship leader at Sanctus Church. When she’s not at her home church, she’s leading worship at churches and ministries across Canada and beyond, including past Celebrations with Will Graham. Brooke has been named the Female Vocalist of the Year for the last three years at the Canadian Gospel Music Awards and her latest album, Pursue, was nominated for a 2020 Juno Award. Brooke is married to Steve, her guitar player.


Scott Lanigan

Through diverse experiences, including being the director of human resources in the lumber sector, helping develop and launch a non-profit, and serving in multiple pastoral roles for over 25 years, Scott has gained a capacity to energize and inspire people to vision. He has a passion for helping people discover who they are, and who they are becoming in Christ. Scott and his wife, Carla, live in Kelowna, BC, and recently celebrated their 29th anniversary. They have three kids. Presently, Scott serves as the acting lead pastor at Trinity Church in Kelowna.
