Last month, wildfires swept through Denare Beach, Saskatchewan, destroying more than 200 houses and leaving hundreds homeless.
As evacuees return home, Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplains have deployed to this northern community to care for hurting individuals and provide emotional and spiritual support.
“It’s an incredibly challenging situation,” said Keith Waara, director of Canadian Ministry Projects. “This is a small community with limited resources, and residents are in desperate need of comfort. We are here to provide hope in Jesus’ Name for the residents of Denare Beach as they begin their long journey of recovery and healing.”
Will you join us in praying for the families impacted by these wildfires? Please also pray for our chaplains as they provide the comfort and hope found only in the Lord Jesus Christ.
