Sept. 12—Over 2,600 people filled the Church on the Queensway in Toronto, Ontario, during the Night of Hope with Will Graham. Children, youth, and adults of all ages joyfully came to hear Will Graham share the Good News of Jesus Christ on Friday night.Christian artist TAYA kicked off the evening with heartfelt music and an inspiring reminder that God’s love is unconditional.“God is love … He is kind, loving, and redemptive,” TAYA told the crowd. The Afters continued the hope-filled, energetic worship, preparing hearts for the Gospel message. The Afters invited some of the many youth in attendance to join them on stage.“Rejoice in HOPE” (Romans 12:12, ESV).Will Graham shared the hope of the Gospel, teaching from Luke 15 about the Prodigal Son.“God formed you. He knows everything about you. And He wants you to come home to Him tonight. Are you willing to do that?” Will Graham asked during his message. An ASL interpreter translated Will Graham’s message to attending ASL community members.More than 100 people responded to Will Graham’s invitation to come forward and trust Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9, ESV).Every person who came forward and placed their trust in the Lord will be connected with a local church that will continue to walk with them in their new faith.Trained prayer volunteers completed the Christian Life and Witness Course earlier this year. Over 360 people took these evangelism classes led by representatives of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada. This training helps Christians deepen their faith and learn to share Jesus Christ with friends and family. Please join us in praying for all who decided to follow Christ in repentance and faith, and for the Gospel seeds that have been planted.
