Vernon Resounds with the Good News

During two outreach events on Saturday in Vernon, British Columbia, more than 800 people heard the Gospel at the Thompson-Okanagan Look Up Tour with Will Graham.
Grace Bible Church of Vernon was jumping with Irish Christian band Rend Collective. “We’ve known Jesus for a long time. He’s been a source of joy, a source of life … If you haven’t met Jesus yet, maybe tonight’s your night.”
“Build Your kingdom here, let the darkness fear, show Your mighty hand, heal our streets and land,” the crowd sang along with Rend Collective.
“God plays no favorites. It means He loves me as much He loves you … He has absolute love for all of us,” said country music artist George Canyon as he led his favorite worship songs.
Many youth filled the auditorium.
Families also came to hear a message of hope. “Moms and dads, the best thing you can ever do for your family, your marriage is surrender your life to Jesus Christ,” said Will Graham.
The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth” (Psalm 145:18).
Will Graham shared a message of hope from God’s Word. “Jesus died for one reason, so you can live … All the things that you’re looking for are found in Jesus—joy, peace, purpose.”
“All you have to do is ask the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords to come into your heart,” Will said. “This is the most important decision you will ever make in your life.”
People across generations and backgrounds came forward to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We praise God for that!
