When I was a child (about 8, I think), I asked Jesus to come into my life. I'm older now, but down inside I've always worried that my childish commitment wasn't enough, and I wonder if I'm really saved. What do you think?

I've been sending money to a psychic I found through an advertisement in a newspaper, and I think her advice has helped me make some important decisions. But my mother says I'm just wasting money, and that some day I'll realize this woman can't really see into the future. Who should I listen to?
