The first night of the Rankin Inlet Celebration of Hope took place at Maani Ulujuk Ilinniarvik school. The event marked the first Celebration in Canada’s arctic. Canadian band The Color brought an energy and authentic worship experience.Juno Award-winning Aboriginal recording artist and motivational speaker Susan Aglukark performed at the event.People of all ages came to hear Will Graham’s message of hope.Illusionist Jim Munroe wowed the crowd and provided entertainment early in the evening.Will Graham, Billy Graham’s grandson, preached about the story of Hannah from 1 Samuel 1.The crowd was impacted by Tane’ Miller’s powerful voice.“God has a plan and purpose for your life,” Will Graham told the crowd in Rankin Inlet.Each person who came forward had the chance to talk with a prayer volunteer and was given the Gospel of John.Rankin Inlet, Nunavut is a small, remote town known as the “gateway to the north”.The Rankin Inlet Celebration of Hope wraps up tonight.
