"If you've been hurt by a church, I’m sorry," Will Graham said. "But I’m here to tell you that God still loves you and God wants to come into your life, and do something you can’t do yourself."

"I feel a great spirit of worship here tonight," said Canadian contemporary Christian music artist Matt Maher. "What a powerful witness to those in the building who don't go to church—to see us agreeing on the fact that we all need God."

While the Bay of Quinte is scenic, the city of Belleville has its issues like anywhere else. The number of residents who died from overdoses in the first quarter of this year rose 35 percent compared to the same period in 2018. Helping people understand they can be free of addictions and other negative lifestyles—and find hope in Christ—is why events such as the Quinte Celebration with Will Graham are so important.

For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” —Isaiah 60: 1-3
